Format for each Leg

24 draw, divided into 8 groups. Single round robin for group stage (24 matches). 8 players will advance to quarterfinals. Quarterfinals onwards by single knockout format. Alternate breaks, all matches race to 9 except for Final race to 11. Total 31 matches.

Format for Grand Final

Top 10 players on the final ranking will be eligible (subject to 1 wildcard entry for the host country’s best ranked player). 10 persons divided into 2 groups of 5. Single round robin for group stage (20 matches). Top 2 players in each group advance to Semi-finals. Semi-finals & final on single knockout format. Alternate breaks, all matches race to 9 except for Final race to 11. Total 23 matches.

All matches will have one time out after 7th rack (5 minutes in duration), 40sec shot-clock rule enforced with US$50 penalty.

Tie - In case of a tie in the Tour Ranking, order will be determined by average number of winning racks, then by average number of losing racks, followed by calculating each player’s average winning scores minus average losing scores for all matches. In case of a tie in group stage, order will be determined by winning racks, then by losing racks, followed by calculating winning scores minus losing scores, and finally by lucky draw.
