Poker Rakeback for Fixed Limit Players

Every regular or semi-regular player of online poker needs rakeback. If you are playing without rakeback, you will restrict your profits, leaving large amounts of money on the table each time you fire up the online poker room. However, players sometimes assume it is more important for No Limit Holdem players to have rakeback because their pots can reach higher amounts. In actuality, fixed limit players benefit from getting online poker rakeback just as much as the No Limit Holdem player gets.

A No Limit holdem poker player will usually rake less than a Fixed Limit Holdem poker player over a session. The No Limit Holdem player tends to play fewer hands due to the fact they have to wait for big starting hands, so they have a better chance of winning the pot. However, because no limit poker players are usually much tighter, it is not unusual for a pre flop raise to win the pot immediately. If this happens, most poker rooms do not take rake from that pot. Most poker rooms only take rake if you see a flop. So, if you play tight aggressive No limit Holdem, you usually aren’t involved in many big pots as often, which means you pay less rake over time.

Fixed Limit players usually rake more than a No Limit Holdem player. A Fixed Limit player usually has a much different strategy to a no limit holdem player. A fixed limit player will play far more marginal hands like 7-8 or Q-9 because they can draw with these hands and can usually see a flop much cheaper than in No Limit Holdem. Additionally, because they play more drawing hands, they flop more draws. For example, if they flop a flush draw, they are nearly always priced in to see the next card. Whereas, in no limit holdem, players will usually try to stop the opposing player from seeing a cheap card if they put their opponent on a draw. As a result, not only do fixed limit players play more hands than no limit poker players do, they also get involved in bigger hands more often – where the result is typically more rake.

While rakeback is necessary for all poker players, fixed limit players will generally rake more than a no limit players – which results in a higher rakeback check. It is important to remember even if you do not play fixed limit and just stick to no limit – rakeback is for all players. If you do not currently have a good rakeback deal, you should be looking for one through a provider of rakeback.
